Is there somewhere I can get more info on the characters?  I love crossovers but I like to know the 'people' involved.  Thank you for the story, WW.

Dr. Kiriko (ドクター・キリコ, Dr. Kiriko^?), the "death doctor", is another shadowy doctor, traveling the world like Black Jack. When Kiriko was a war doctor, he saw many patients in great pain, and got into the habit of using euthanasia. He often appears in the manga, attempting to kill terminally ill patients which Black Jack wants to save. He is so dedicated to euthanasia that he once attempted to kill himself when he got a rare infectious disease. Although he is not exactly a villain or primary antagonist, he is often considered Black Jack's opposite: While Kiriko leads patients to their deaths, Black Jack leads patients to their lives.

Though arch-rivals, they have been in situations where they had to cooperate in order to survive or to accomplish a task, and manage to do so with good results. Whenever he is confronted by Black Jack after a successful operation which avoided the death alternative, Kiriko simply replies with something along the lines of "I'm a doctor as well, you know".

In the Clinical Chart OVA series, Dr. Kiriko is introduced only as Mozart, in homage to his affinity for classical music. In this OVA, it is also shown that Kiriko is not greedy for money like Black Jack nor did he consider his style of Euthanasia as a 'Solution to all sicknesses' as demonstrated by his act of charity as he provided basic nutrients and some food to a patient suffering from what appeared to be severe anorexia at one point.

In the same series of OVA, it is shown that he travels by Motorcycle and shows a proficiency in mechanics and music.

Glad to see an update to this (I think this is longer than what had been posted to the Group).  I wonder if Xan knows about the 'growth'?

I did notice that at the start, you have all three of them in the same room.  Why did Black Jack need to use the PA system if no one else was around (see below)?

A look at a second screen tells him that everything is locked and he stands up as Xander walks into the room, absently rubbing the back of his neck...[shuts down computers  and discusses emergency button on watch]..."You shut down the computer system?" Dr. Kiriko asks, one eyebrow raised into his white hair as the other man enters the lab...[now all 3 are in the same room]...

[next paragraph] "In case we lose power it will be easier to shut down one or two than run around the hotel shutting them off." he says calmly, pulling on a lab coat. He walks over to the PA system and presses a button, "Xander, get some containers and fill them with water. If the storm is as bad as they predict, we'll need them."

"Already taken care of." Xander says when Black Jack releases the button...

First scene takes place down in the old lobby, Xander walked in when he heard Black Jack announce he was going to shut the doors and windows with everybody inside.

Only Kiriko and Black Jack are in the lab, Xander just walked with Black Jack up to the lab and went on with his preparations for getting the hotel ready for the storm.
