I was rereading some of my earlier work and came across this one

I originally saw this as Mulder, but on reading it and thinking about some of the thoughts on Xander being a Profiler I thought it fit him as well

Hoping for my lover's spark

Doing what is right

Needing my lovers arms at night

Despite what others say

Even when others get in the way

Though it cost me body and soul

Knowing you will make me whole

And will do so till I die
