September - December 2005: (Faith 21 /Xander 25)
On Faith’s big birthday, the group had taken her out to dinner and ordered wine (which she proudly showed her ID to the waiter to prove she could have some.
Privately, Xander had taken her to a pub and had gotten her a sampler of the micro brews they had there.
Finally it was time for school
Harry was afraid he would mess up and was nervous about leaving for the day, but his dad had told him that aunt Faith would be up by noon and so she could pick him up from school and make sure he was ok while he and Dawn were in school
Dawn was starting at UCSD this year and was nervous herself, but figured that if Xander could hack it, then she could.
She was studying Computers and Forensics for her majors and Chemistry as a minor.
Xander started his Jr year testing out of many of his courses and concentrating on his mandatories
Faith had worried all through her nap that Harry would have problems being away from them for so long and was up by 9am instead of noon waiting for the call.
By the time school let out she was a bundle of nerves but was happy when she was told that he was a good boy.
Harry could not stop talking about what a fun time he had had in class and showed Faith the drawing he had made during art class.
It was a family picture showing all of them with Harry in front and Xander behind him Faith on the right side of Xander and Dawn on the left with each one having a hand on his shoulder and Xander having both hands on his shoulders.
Xander and Dawn cried at that and Xander went out to have it laminated and framed so they could hang it on the wall
When told by the teacher that Harry might need glasses, Xander and Dawn went and made an appointment with the dr. and then when it was found that he did need glasses, helped Harry pick out some that he could wear
Usually Xander and Dawn came home between 3 and 5pm which allowed them to eat dinner then head off to Aikido class and then home for bed
Harry did his homework after he got home from school and on the weekends was allowed to go to visit some of his school friends or have them come and visit him and play on the beach with either Faith or Xander or Dawn watching over them.
2006 - 2011:
Harry grew up feeling loved and held as tight as he could to that feeling
When he started to do accidental magic, he was at first scared of what his dad would do only to have Xander sit him down and tell him that this just meant that he would have more lessons on the weekends and during the week, he was to practice his meditation to calm himself down
On the weekends now, Harry learned about herbs and crystals as well as the first rule of Magic - Thou Shall Do No Harm and the second rule - Thou Shall Not Show Off - what was taught to him was private and for family only.
Xander himself had just finished up his PhD in Linguistics and had been working at home as a translator when not in class, working mainly as a translator for the Council.
He was going to take a year off and then start on his Masters in Ancient World History and was already known as an expert in Ancient Weapons
Dawn had her Masters in Computers and was working on her Masters in Forensics
She was hoping to become a member of a police lab in Forensic Computers.
What Dawn learned in her classes, she taught Harry who ate up anything to do with computers
Faith had aged out as being the Slayer, and worked as a trainer at the local gym.
Hermione was sorted into Ravenclaw while Ron and Neville were both in Gryffindor
Outside of computers with Dawn, Harry took after his dad in his love of history and languages knowing Latin, Watcher Latin, Greek, French, and Spanish, as well as Elvin, and Klingon.
Unlike his father however, he was popular, but due to his father’s teachings, and the First and Second Rule, he didn’t let that go to his head and was nice to those around him (one of the reasons he was popular)
His love of things to do with Space, he had his tenth birthday at Cape Canaveral and only AFTER that went to Disneyworld and the surrounding parks
