Summary: Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, Buffy, Stargate or Once Upon a Time. • Pick and choose either Xander Harris or Harry Potter for this challenge. • The Mermaid, Merman, Merperson(whatever word you want to use) that Xander or Harry will be able to turn into (at will, with the ability to choose between both forms at any time) will be based on the Mermaid canon of "Once Upona Time". • The ability or reason for them to be able to become a Mermaid/Merman is either by ancestry, birth or pure chance of fate or accidental magic. • For Xander, Ariel spent some time in Xander's world (the Buffy world) and he's a child of both Ariel and Prince Eric from the Enchanted Forest in "Once Upon a Time" and she was frozen there by chance for those 28 years during the Curse when she would have been back in either a few hours or a day, having just given birth to him in the last few days or a few weeks before that, Ariel went back to the Enchanted Forest to sneak a few things out of Prince Eric's room so their son could have a few things of his fathers while he grows up so they could search for Eric together when he got older so he could stay in one place long enough to grow up without being dragged from place to place as a baby, toddler or child/young child. While she was gone she got caught by the effects of the shield Cora cast and was frozen in time like the others under the shield for 28 years until Emma broke the time freezing aspect of the Curse when she accepted the key for a room at Granny's Inn. • For Harry, Ariel spent some time in Harry's world and he's a child of both Ariel and Prince Eric from the Enchanted Forest in "Once Upon a Time" and she was frozen there by chance for those 28 years during the Curse when she would have been back in either a few hours or a day, having just given birth to him in the last few days or a few weeks before that, Ariel went back to the Enchanted Forest to sneak a few things out of Prince Eric's room so their son could have a few things of his fathers while he grows up so they could search for Eric together when he got older so he could stay in one place long enough to grow up without being dragged from place to place as a baby, toddler or child/young child. While she was gone she got caught by the effects of the shield Cora cast and was frozen in time like the others under the shield for 28 years until Emma broke the time freezing aspect of the Curse when she accepted the key for a room at Granny's Inn. • For Harry: • Those twenty eight years in the Enchanted Forest/Storybrooke were twelve years (after the Chamber of Secrets) or thirteen years (after rescuing Sirius) in Harry's world, in this he never hears the prophecy, and even if he did its not relevant to him anyway. After getting fed up of the Wizarding Worlds constantly shifting opinions after having experienced it since he got his Hogwarts letter and their unrealistic expectations of a child, after having spent the years since he got his letter collecting anything that interested him or could be useful to him, he packs up and gets ready to leave that world for somewhere more interesting and that he could make a city of his own people in. Harry (and anyone he could get to come with him) wind upin the City Ship Atlantis one hundred or two hundred (or more) years before anyone from the SGC/Atlantis Expedition arrives (Elizabeth Weir is still there though, along with a few dozen charged ZPMs and a datapad with instructions on how to create, recharge and charge more). They spend those years restoring the City to working order and understanding and learning everything they can about it while further exploring their world hopping ability and taking back those they either meet and marry or those they think are worthy of being turned into a Mermaid or Merman and joining their City. Through some way they either have or gain the full Ancient/Lantean/ATA Gene. • Harry has the ability to turn others into Mermaids and Mermen like a vampire or werewolf. • Mermaids/Mermen also have in addition to what they already have, Immortality, genetic knowledge, and via Harry: telepathy, a hive mind and the ability to use Wizarding and Enchanted Forest magic. When a Mermaid or Merman kisses someone with the intent to breath, they permanently gain the ability to breath underwater. (This list is true for both Harry and Xander specific challenges.) • Harry finds the control pedestal that gives full control of Atlantis to the one who first touches it, early on after arriving. • Harry winds up in Storybrooke at some point looking for his parents. • For Xander: • The twenty eight years in the Enchanted Forest/Storybrooke can be 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21 years in the Buffy world for when Xander reawakens his Merman abilities and starts preparing supplies to travel worlds and realities. • Xander reawakens his Merman abilities, Immortality and genetic memories/knowledge at some point after the Swim Team episode in Season Two and continues on until Dawn is created and the Key is split between Xander (because of his world/reality/dimension hopping abilities being a good concealer for the Key essence) and Dawn. • Because of Glory being after Dawn (and Xander), they decide to hop worlds to get away from her, taking everything they can with them (supplies, modern conveniences, packing up their houses/living places and whatever else they can take with themat the time) and end up in the City Ship Atlantis a few hundred years before the SGC/Atlantis Expedition arrives. Elisabeth Weir is still there along with a dozen concealed ZPMs and a datapad on how to charge, recharge and create more of them. • Xander finds the same control pedestal as Harry. • The Enjoining Spell granted them all the ability to turn into Mermaids/Merman and some magical ability for those that didn't have it. (The spell itself also chooses those who are worthy to receive it in their immediate vicinity.) (Optional) • Xander winds up in Storybrooke at some point looking for his parents. • Everyone either has or gains the full Ancient/Lantean/ATA Gene early on. • Xander has magic from both Willow and the Enchanted Forest as do the others. • Xander can turn others into Mermaids and Mermen similar to how a werewolf and vampire can turn someone. • You can turn into a Mermaid/Merman form, a Human form and a half form like Gilliweed(?) can give you gills and webbed hands and legs. (Applies to both Harry and Xander challenges). • As things continue on, they give sanctuary to Slayers and Potentials that they activate. • Xander never loses his eye(s) or any limbs. None of them do. • Being in water can regenerate and heal Mermaids and Mermen. • They run the Council from Atlantis by going back and forth. Slayers, Potentials and Watchers have the option to become Mermaids and Mermen. (The names in the challenge can go both ways, and are inter-changeable between Harry or Xander, just expanded to fit each specific worlds scenarios.) • Xander and Harry are the leaders of their Cities and People. They also keep control of Atlantis when the SGC/Atlantis Expedition arrive.

Summary:

After hearing about the Powers that Be and Their Messenger Whistler, and how they only care about 'protecting the balance' of the world/universe/dimension, Xander, instead of going as a soldier for Halloween, convinces Buffy, Willow, Giles and Jenny, to dress as the 'Light(Good)' 'Powers that Be'(So there can be 'Light(Good)', 'Balance(Grey)', non-interference(Ascended Ancients), and 'Dark(Evil)', instead of just; 'Balance(Grey)', non-interference(Ascended Ancients), and 'Dark(Evil)'), with Angel as their Messenger, not knowing that they were going to actually -become- the 'Light(Good) Powers that Be'.

Requirements:
-Janus, knowing how much Chaos that there was going to be, blocked the different Sides from knowing or interfering in the Gangs choice of costume, and tweaks the spell so that for the Gang, it's permament.

-No Warren.

-There can be as many crossovers as the author can think of.

-It can be of any length

Summer After Master Dies

• Parents die and he inherits his magical heritage {powers, family tree, book of shadows, family chronicles...}

• Ends up living in a warded one room apartment & working for a Good Ethan at his Magic Shop as a Emancipated Minor

• Subtly breaks away from the Scoobies who don't really notice as he forms/becomes a part of a solid supportive coven with another natural born witch and several practitioners {Amy, Tucker, Jonathan, Andrew, Michael, Tara..} = Ethan, Jenny & a amulet protected Whitelighter are their competent mentors

• Together manage to thoroughly research and map out a 100 years of Sunnydale, building & key figures, finding various human & supernatural past, present & future patterns, threats, problems, inconsistencies, hot spots, lairs... = leads to them effectively & preemptively taking out several threats

• Sets up a secure network to monitor who & what comes into town – dangerous artifacts, books, demons, magic users..{e.g. The Judge & Acathla could be orbed into hot lava before they even wake up}

• Together raid various Sunnydale caches weekly, above and below ground, each earning a decent trust fund – making a real dent in the vampires & bad demons population as well as Sunnydale collection of hidden & mostly dangerous artifacts/books/weapons

• Other possible changes = everyone linked into the Hellmouth permanently cut off = real bad citizens locations leaked to feds{serial killers-tax dodgers-molesters-hackers..} = magical witness protection for several future sacrifices e.g. Cordelia after seeing marks on their auras = Rack vanquished = Mayor stopped before the 100 days = Hellmouth drained so harder to open...

Summary:

Xander has been Jack O'Neill's illegitimate son. Xander has been Charlie O'Neill who death had been faked as he was spirited away. Xander has been O'Neill's son who was created by aliens Hell Xander has even been Jack's father!

But what if Xander was Jack's twin brother?

Now before you say that's impossible hear me out.

Loki created Xander and Jack in a lab in the hope of finding the answer to save his people. Having implanted the zygote that would become Jack, Loki froze the Xander zygote for future testing and implantation.

Fast forward to the present (or sometime during either show) Jack learns that a teenager/young man has his exact DNA. Fearing a NID/Alien plot, Jack goes to investigate.

How Jack learns that Xander shares his DNA is up to the writer but I do have a couple suggestions.

1) The Initiative wanting to know what long-term exposure to the Hellmouth has on a human takes samples from unknowing subjects. During testing it is discover that Xander's DNA matches Jack's. (This is assuming that the Initiative is part of NID)

2) Xander is found injured and suffering from amnesia. Hoping for a match the local police summit a sample of Xander's DNA to the FBI. What they got was not what they were expecting.

Summary:

Xander is running a high fever and is delusional. So it's during this state that he decides to take on the horrible and dreaded Dryer Monster since it keeps eating his socks and boxers.
