I loved the cat. She was very much a little goddess, and so very protective of her human. <G> I do hope what ever is after Phillip can be defeated by one very determined cat and one very determined friend. If you write more, I would love to read it.

Author's Response: she'll be nudging her pets into helping. even the ones she considers smelly and that mean one that wet her down. <G> but that's all i've got on this one, MM. it's been stuck now for a few years. but i thought it'd cheer some of the people up on the list since so many have had personal problems recently. i'm glad you liked it. vo.

Awww that's cute and sweet. Still could wish that Nick and Philip would end up together...hmm maybe the cat is planning on helping that along <eg>

Author's Response: originally the cat was doing to get her poor stray pets together to protect philip. of course, when i got stuck that kinda went by the wayside. but i'm glad you liked it. vo

I like this story and in my mind she was sent by a celestial being to protect Philip from the Dark.

Author's Response: yes, she is a bit supernatural but so are most cats. so perhaps she was sent.... perhaps she just decided to adopt.... but she's cute and it gives philip the opportunity to care about something that the church can't really complain about. glad you liked it, Calia. vo
