Another engrossing read. Although the moving to another planet reminded my of a story by Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle and Steven Barnes, The Legacy of Heorot, where the new planet seeemed ideal.

Anoher engrossing installment. 

One thing, about a third of the way through this chapter it read as if they went to the laundry to enter new books.

Not on another site, but I have a similar scene in a later fic where they are under lockdown thanks to a power outage, this one in Josette's senior year and in the middle of iwnter.

I have read this series many times, just one thing that struck me the last time. The school has plans for lockdown for the boarding students, but they never mention what happens to the day students if they are on campus during a lockdown, if nothing else were do they sleep?

Day students would immediately be sent home in the case of bad weather. since usually there's advance warning. In the case of a threat, they'd be bedding down in an emty room for the night if it took that long for the authorities to deal with the threat.

Ok, I just spent 3 days reading your update, and loved every bit!  Of course now I am wondering what could possibly be next...   I love how you build your world(s), and how the characters interacted, and how you had enough description so I could mostly watch the story in my head.

I just read through all of this series and enjoyed it. I do have a question, other than a brief mention in one of your later stories mentioning that she's (slowly) doing some studying/learning with her magic, it seems as if she's not doing anything with it? Could her magic maybe be the answer to her repeatedly saying she needs to learn how to be in 3 places at once?

BTW if I might sugest the next time you write a Joesette as a goddest ,How aboutt making her the Goddest of ,over achevers,the goddest of worl-a-holic,and the goddest of multi tasking.

It just a though,but i think you will agree that she fits the role.
