So far, I like this series but I think I'm missing a lot of the nuances because I have no clue what this crossover verse is.  Can you maybe put up a quick synopsis of the overall Young Wizards story in the series description?

Author's Response: *nods* There are a lot of levels and hidden meanings in the series. I'll try and post a basic outline of what the series is about, and I may even have copies in e-book format that I can convert to other format of the series for folks if they're interested as well ;-)

Really like how this story is unfolding:)

Author's Response: The whole thing spun out of a challenge over at Twisting The Hellmouth for a Young Wizard crossover, and the added challenge of the Fic A Day contest over there. Had to be between 300 and 3000 words <g>. The first three parts, along with some other drabbles of madness were the result.

Lovely chapter:)

Had to go back and read from the beginning after reading Sorrows.  Enjoying this...will need to read Young Wizards again since it's been so long since I first read it.  Keep up the good work:)

Author's Response:

Glad you liked it. It always seemed that there was a 'deeper' level to Tom and Carl's relationship <g>. Plus Carl admitted in 'Deep Wizardry' the second novel of the series that there is a price greater than a 'life price', and 'his eyes were filled with sorrow as he was lost in memory'. So I decided to make a twist of my own on it.

Still this is going to be an interesting series, as I don't know where it's going to go or end up. I do plan on keeping a lot of the key events from canon as part of the series, such as Darth Willow and the battle with The First. I'm probably going to play around with the Angelus line and possibly with Graduation as well, not sure when I'll get to those parts.

Ouch...but, I'm glad he had someone to comfort him.  I don't think he did in canon, did he?

Author's Response:

As best I recall in canon, neither Buffy nor Willow or anyone else really talked about it after it happened, nor offered him any real support *sighs* So yep, it was nice that he had someone at least to lean on.

I'm still not sure where I'll end up going with this series, or what all will happen, but it's slowly growing here and there in drabbles.
