From the back seat of the car, sixteen year old Willow Rosenberg watched as the scenery passed by.  Tuning out her parents aloof conversation concerning the newest findings presented at the National Psychological Research Seminar.  She absently grabbed a strand of hair to chew as she pondered her present dilemma.  At the beginning of the road trip she had been ecstatic at the thought of actually being able to spend some time with her absentee parents but that enthusiasm quickly died.  Both adults paid little attention to her presence and god forbid them actually try to talk to her during the six hour car ride.

With a small resigned sigh, she didn't even know why she had even gotten her hopes up.  Shifting in the seat she was grateful when the car finally turn into the hotel chosen for this year's family reunion.  Entering into the large posh lobby of the Peabody, she immediately recognized several extended family members milling about.  So distracted by the sights Willow never saw the person in front of her, until she walked into them.  Mortified she Jumping back in embarrassment, feeling the tell-tell heat of a blush starting.

"I'm so sorry!"

Coming face to face with fellow red head around her own age.

"No harm done."

The girl grinned, adjusting her glasses.

"Deducting from our shared physical traits and the current location we are in.  I'm going to make a logical assumption and say we're related."

Sticking out her hand.

"I'm Velma, Velma Dinkley are you here for the reunion too?"

"Oh yes, I'm Willow, Willow Rosenberg…"

Any further conversations between the two was abruptly cut off as a savage wind blew open the lobby doors, breaking the glass and scattering papers, garbage and even furniture.  Through the large windows the once clear sky seemed to boiling, the air soon filled with the smell of ozone and the ominous rumbles of thunder.  Until finally around a central vortex, vessels measuring miles long emerged from it's crepuscular wake.

"JENKIES!"

The two girls couldn't believe their eyes and watched in fascinated horror as dozens of massive ships began to appear.  Around them radios and televisions flickered and crackled soon to be replaced with an emotionless and cold voice.

"I am the Lord Marshal. For those who resist the Necromancer way, their journey will end abruptly. For those who embrace the purification, death will come in due time."

Eight months later the last of the Necromancer fleet left the ravaged planet known as Earth.  Resistance had far exceeded their expectations for such a backwards civilization but in the end it was futile.  As the last of the ships broke the atmosphere, the new Lord Marshall leaned back in his chair watching dispassionately at the receding orb that had birth him. The man once known as Dexter Morgan stood silently turning from the view port, followed by two of his high inquisitors.  He had had no problem accepting the necormic way, finding it oddly right in a world that viewed his own outlook on values and life as sociopathic.  A cold smile graced his lips briefly on how that had change and now the world sees he was right all along.

Nodding his head he parts ways with his inquisitors, the two young red headed women were perfect examples of enlightenment.  Both zealot followers of the Necromancer faith, for in this verse life is antagonistic to the natural state.  Humans in all their various races were but a spontaneous outbreak, an unguided mistake.  Their purpose was to correct that mistake because there is another verse.  The Under-verse and all must be purged for them to be reborn into the promised land.

He was sure with his inquisitors by his side with their cunning, unique outlook and power nothing would stand in their way.  Proceeding down the lavishly decorated corridor towards the main halls, he called over his shoulder to his ever present shadow.

"Come Scooby, there is much to be done today"

Scooby-Doo trailed behind the scary bad man, much scarier than any of the monsters the group had ever chased before but he had to be brave, he had to save Relma, Raggy and the Rang!

"Ro-boy-o- boy-o-boy"

"Row Ro I Ret myself into Rhese Rhings!"
